Hijinx

Hijinx is a Cardiff based theatre company, working with learning disabled and/or autistic actors, acclaimed for their award-winning theatre productions, community projects and diversity training.

The Snookes Brothers “Bank” was first staged at The Millennium Centre as part of the 2011 Unity Festival, and later that year in Seville as part of the Escena Mobile festival. It has since been performed at theatre festivals all over Europe.

Suit trousers and waistcoats were made from vintage pinstriped woollen fabric using traditional tailoring techniques.

Silver and gold coin buttons were used to fasten the waistcoats.

Peach coloured shirts were screen printed with a print taken from pages of The Financial Times.

Mathematical symbols where also printed onto the pin striped fabric and used to make the welt pockets.
